Scented Panther takes its cue from the themes of disappearance and extinction, exploring the persistence of bodies that leave traces in their wake. It draws inspiration from the figure of the scented panther, an ancient medieval allegory and emblem of an elusive animality, capable of evoking strength and seduction, of attracting without ever fully revealing itself.

A creature symbolising poetry incarnate, expressing power, gentleness and ferocity all at once. These elements translate into a single performance, centred on a slow, hypnotic transformation of the body that gradually incorporates elements evocative of a primal wildness. In the performance, the body slowly transforms through a single, repeated and rhythmic gesture, like a call or an invitation. And as each element manifests and vanishes, the figure of the panther serves as an unsettling guide, creating imaginative landscapes with the feel of a dark fairy tale.
