Workshop by artist Chiara Bersani for persons with motor disabilities

The artist and choreographer Chiara Bersani, in the spaces of Sa Manifattura in Cagliari from 26 to 28 June, will lead a workshop – with a final presentation to the public on 28 June – addressed to persons with motor disabilities aged 14 and over.

Conceived as an integral part of the Sottobosco art project, the workshop follows the desire of Chiara Bersani and her team to meet people with motor disabilities in the space of the stage to answer the question together: what is the relationship of a body with a disability with ‘nature’? What space can we imagine and thus create thanks to the collective presence of our bodies? What new and accessible undergrowth can be built by our gestures? What mysterious and silent language allows us to communicate, listen and understand each other in this space?

Previous experience in dance or theatre is not required, but a willingness to participate in a collective experience.
