Workshop conducted by Cristina Kristal Rizzo and Diana Anselmo

The power of imagination predisposes bodies to movement and relationship with the world. The meeting of dancer and choreographer Cristina Kristal Rizzo with Diana Anselmo, a bilingual sordx performer in Italian and LIS, prefigures the development of the workshop as a place of relationship and community.

Through physical practices – which include an openness to a modality respectful of differences, – modalities, postures and dialogues will be traversed in the search for a dance that is sensitive to the expressive power of bodies and to sharing, allowing eachx, both deaf and non-deaf, to constitute together an ecosystem capable of overcoming the barriers of language and culture, in the direction of a strongly sustainable horizon.
