Autunno DaNza

XXII Edition

The 22nd edition of the Autunno Danza festival can be imagined as an ancient loom capable of weaving nets and tarlatans with precious threads of relationships. The weft is given by the interweaving of ideas and artistic suggestions shared with different expressive fields but similar in cultural approach. The warp is the refined study of movement elaborated by contemporary dance authors presenting their own creations. Expressiveness and body language are the medium between the multiple manifestations of a multifaceted thought in numerous codes and aesthetic visuals. Related in the obstinate search that changes nuance and grain at every joint, in the tension towards the goal of an impossible perfection, in the social and political urgency of communication. Internationally renowned choreographers, young talents already recognised, original production made in Sardinia are the characteristics of a festival that, over two months and in different venues, will be able to weave its web, painted by a broad programme in which dance, performance, choreography, installations, meetings, workshops will envelop the body of the city.
